Please read the following information carefully as it contains important information. The information contained in this member portal (the "Portal") is communicated and issued by B.S. Pension Fund Trustee Limited (the "Trustee", "we" or "us") in accordance with the following terms and conditions (the “Terms”). The Trustee is registered in the United Kingdom, with registered address 17th Floor 125 Old Broad Street, London, EC2N 1AR under company number 171830. By accessing any part of this Portal, you will be deemed to have accepted these Terms in full. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not continue to access this Portal.

Information referred to in this Portal, such as the governing rules of the British Steel Pension Scheme ("Scheme"), applicable legislation and tax rules may be subject to change from time to time. Although we will endeavour to keep this information up to date, we cannot guarantee this.
We also cannot guarantee the accuracy of any member specific information displayed in the Portal, and it is important to be aware that any changes you make via the Portal will not be immediately reflected in the Portal. All benefits under the Scheme are payable in accordance with the Scheme's trust deed and rules. If there is any discrepancy between the information provided through this Portal and the trust deed and rules, the trust deed and rules will always take precedence.

The Trustee's Privacy Policy applies to any personal information (including any special category personal information) which you provide through the Portal. If and to the extent that you provide any personal information about a third party through the Portal (for example when updating your nominated beneficiaries), by submitting the relevant information through the Portal you confirm that you have the third party's consent to share that information with the Trustee.

Neither the Trustee or its Related Persons will be liable for any Losses caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, virus, worm, time bomb, Trojan horse or other harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programmes, data or other proprietary material due to your use of the Portal or to your downloading of any material from it.
11. Governing Law
This Portal and all matters arising from or connected with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

These Terms may be superseded by specific provisions published elsewhere on the Portal. We reserve the right to update or otherwise vary these Terms from time to time, with or without notice to you.
